We hereby invite you to trade union meetings at Tripodia which will be held on Wednesday, February 20th 2019. In these meetings we will explain the contents of the collective agreement result achieved. We will also try to answer your every question as much as possible and discuss all remarks made by you.
The trade union meetings at Alutech will be held on:
20 February 2019,
at Tripodia: Hoornesplein 155 in Katwijk.
- The first meeting will take place at 13.30 untill 14.15;
- the second meeting will take place at 15.00 untill 17.00.
The result contains the following:
- The duration of this collective agreement is 30 months with an end date of December 1 2020.
- An increase of wages of 3,5% as per February 1, an amount of 58€ gross per August 2019, and an amount of €116 gross per January 1, 2010.
- A ‘generation pact’ (Generatiepact) with conditions for senior employees that enables them to work 80% against 90% wages and 100% pension accrual starting at the age of 62, and for employees working in regular shifts at the age of 60 and up. Also, working for 70% against 85% wages and 100% pension accrual is possible, in which case employer has to give his consent. Regulation and examples of calculations must be laid down. You will of course receive further information on this subject.
- A number of 3000 temporary workers will be offered a job nationally.
- Employees who were member of a trade union on January 1 2019, will receive a compensation for paid trade union contribution through employer. This will be effective at the end of 2019.

A newspaper is to appear shortly with more information on the result. You will find a voting form within. Casting your vote will be done in writing.
